PROMPTING CULTURE_The Programme: “How does artificial intelligence transform the cultural sector – and what unimagined (artistic) possibilities does it open up? What impact will it have on technical, economic, legal and ethical dimensions?
One thing is clear: it is high time that the cultural sector faces the opportunities and challenges presented by AI: PROMPTING CULTURE!”

PROMPTING CULTURE with Senator for Culture and Social Cohesion of the State of Berlin Joe Chialo and film director, screenwriter, composer and producer Tom Tykwer.

Three perspectives on AI: cultural players in dialogue with artist Robert Seidel, Bruno Kramm, CEO of Infinite AI & Audio GmbH and Sarah Reimann, Curator HAU4 - die digitale Bühne Hebbel am Ufer, on the similarities and differences in the positions and approaches between different cultural sectors.

Augmented Creativity - AI creativity x human creativity a talk with Boris Eldagsen, photo media artist and "Head of Digital" at the German Photographic Academy (DFA), on the relationship between AI-generated images and photography and if so where human creativity and the capabilities of AI meet.

Outlook: What cultural players need for the new AI world with Joe Chialo, senator for culture and social cohesion of the state of Berlin, Felor Badenberg, Senator for Justice and Consumer Protection of the State of Berlin, Clara Herrmann, Director, JUNGE AKADEMIE, Akademie der Künste, Berlin, and the Head of Governmental Affairs and Public Policy YouTube DACH/CEE/EEM at YouTube Sabine Frank. The conference's closing panel discussed the resources, knowledge, funding, rules, regulations, tools, and infrastructures needed for cultural actors and institutions to responsibly and creatively engage with new AI possibilities.
