Most Wanted: Music 2020 Conference
Most Wanted: Music aims to start building the music and creative industries of tomorrow, where collaboration is not merely about working together but creating new with modern goals and rallying around a new ethos.
For its 2020 edition, Most Wanted: Music embraced the theme of TOGETHERNESS.
The festival took it as an opportunity to review, rethink and redefine the future music industry, together.

In the last mile before Most Wanted: Music 2020, we took over from the Curation Team, shaping and polishing hybrid formats covering the most relevant questions of today’s music, tech and creative industries, in order to bring direct value to creators and music businesses.
We led the programming for the conference day with experimental networking formats and digital live performances. The international music industry got together in interactive talks, digital workshops, interviews and Q&A’s with artists and experts from all over the world .
AC Coppens was the main stage host for the conference and conducted interviews with the artist Beatie Wolfe, Dr. Stefan Brandt (Futurium) and Ulf Zick (Universal).
In a year of unprecedented disruption, Most wanted: Music 2020 sought solutions. Key themes were:
support for the creative sector and how streaming platforms pay artists
music’s role in the climate crisis and social change
reshaping live performance
using new technology to empower musicians

The seventh edition of MW:M successfully shifted online following
a last-minute update in COVID regulations, broadcasting from Berlin’s historic Alte Münze, and was broadcasted live on several virtual channels. The three day event kicked off with the listen to berlin: Awards on November 3th, and closed on November 5th
with the showcase format MW:M Live.
